Future Stars Tuition is committed to an environment free from discrimination, bullying, harassment, or victimisation, where every child, parent, and tutor is treated with respect. We want every family who joins us to feel welcome and valued, whatever their background.
We are committed to equality of opportunity for everyone who works with us, and to building a tutor team that reflects the diversity of the communities we serve. In line with the Equality Act 2010, we will not tolerate discrimination on the basis of age, disability, gender reassignment, marriage or civil partnership, pregnancy or maternity, race, religion or belief, sex, or sexual orientation.
We see equality and diversity as central to running an accessible, inclusive setting. It is not an add-on, but part of how we approach every session. Recognising and valuing difference makes Future Stars stronger, including through:
- A richer, more welcoming environment for children and tutors alike
- Better teaching and learning, shaped by different perspectives and experiences
- Attracting and keeping tutors we're proud to have working with children
- Building trust with the families and communities we serve
We aim to go beyond the minimum required by law, not just meet it. We are building a setting where every child and tutor has what they need to thrive, and where inclusion is something we actively practise, not just state.
Any report of harassment, discrimination, bullying, or victimisation will be taken seriously and investigated. Any tutor or member of staff found to have discriminated against or harassed a child, parent, or colleague will face disciplinary action, up to and including dismissal for gross misconduct. Where a parent, visitor, or other third party is involved in such behaviour, we will take appropriate and proportionate action in response.
Anyone who raises a concern about discrimination, whether a parent, child or tutor, has the right to do so without fear of being treated unfairly as a result, and we'll make sure any complaint of this kind is dealt with promptly and fairly.
